Comments: This is on Jeffrey, a really good dude, he would bring me a bottle of his home brewed beer when we worked on his arm. Before I started working on his arm he already had the northwestern tribal crow on the upper outer shoulder and the I Ching arm band on his forearm, so he asked if I could do anything with the existing tattoos. Everything he asked for is in this sleeve. A dio de los muertos skull to celebrate the deaths of family members, a lotus to represent transcendence, the river representing life, and a tree to show his family and his roots. I tried to incorporate the arm band by bring the segmented bars into the images of the sleeve (trust me, the armbands are all straight, its just really hard to photograph it that way). This took around 24 hours(i think).
