Comments: the maneki neko is a japanese cat statue that is said to welcome luck and happiness into your life. a friend of mine had just moved across the country, and had recently bought a maneki neko, which this tattoo was based off of, and thought it to be perfect to get tattooed to help bring in good things with her big move in life. the brass knuckles below the cat were already existing and tattooed by nick baxter.
